They left it out of the story if he did. Or maybe I forgot. They focused a lot on him being mutilated before hand though~

And of course there's the ritual of eating his flesh and drinking his blood that started with the story--that's when they were having dinner before he was betrayed. [Hello misrepresentation, thy name is Rhode.]
