My Percy Jackson dream cast
 


I thought I'd make an entry identifying who I would want in the future Percy Jackson movies. I also named a few people who I think would've been good for the roles already cast/who I originally wanted (and may or many not like anymore). Some of the characters I didn't cast though.  Lol, over half of these picks have/had no chance of ever happening. :P Enjoy!


~Main characters~

Percy Jackson; Josh Hutcherson




Let me just back this up first: back way before the cast was announced, Josh was universally accepted by the fandom as Percy. I jumped on that bandwagon. BUT, now I can’t imagine anyone but Logan as Percy; he’s perfect for the role.

Annabeth Chase; Danielle Chuchran




Danielle is exactly how I imagined Annabeth while reading the books. She’s 17, so she would’ve been perfect since Chris Columbus wanted to age up the characters. And she’s a pretty decent actress, from what I saw on her on the finale of “E.R”.

Grover Underwood; Liam Aiken




He has a Grover look to him, does he not? And I loved him in Series of Unfortunate Events, lol.
Rachel Elizabeth Dare; Karen Gillan



 
A lot of people like her for Rachel, and I really like her too. She’s close to how I imagined her!

Emma Stone




I’m more familiar with Emma’s acting than Karen’s, and she has the look.

Luke Castellan; Jeremy Sumpter




Even after seeing Jake Abel as Luke, I still think Jeremy would’ve done a good job too. Sorry, but he’s just Luke for me    :)

Nico di Angelo; Hero Fiennes-Tiffin



Dude, this kid was so creepy in Harry Potter HBP. His acting was so good. And I saw him in an interview at the HBP premiere, he’s a cutey too. He’s perfect…except for the British accent :P

Thalia Grace; Anna Brewster



I’ve never seen her act, but she looks pretty fierce.

Poseidon; Gerard Butler



He looks especially like Poseidon in the second picture, and he just has a cool look to him.

Artemis; Chloe Moretz



Let’s not forget Artemis is described as looking like a 12-year-old. Chloe’s a great actress, and she’s mature for her age. Perfect.

Hades; Alan Rickman



If they hadn’t made Hades a more comedic character, Alan would’ve been perfect. He’s creepy and a phenomenal actor.

Athena; Kate Winslet



Oh c’mon. Kate’s a wonderful actress, and do you see her in the second picture? So regal…so Athena. And yes I know this never would've happened.

Apollo; Hunter Parrish



Lol, from the second picture, I think you know where I’m coming from ;)

Hestia; Bella Thorne



She’s close to how I imagined Hestia, and she has the look.

Demeter and Persephone; Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel



Look at the first picture. Do you see them looking cool, surrounded by grass? Mhmm.

Aphrodite; Olivia Wilde



She’s gorgeous, and she can act. Nuff said.

~Other characters~

Sally Jackson; Mary Louise Parker



She’s a great actress, and she looks all motherly (and a little like Logan). She would’ve been perfect.

Zoe Nightshade; Jodelle Ferland



She’s a very experienced actress for her age, and she looks kinda ethnic. And she’s close to Zoe’s age (14, right? Or slightly older?)

Bianca di Angelo; Isabelle Furhman



She was awesome/creepy in “Orphan”, and she looks kind of innocent (in these pictures, not Orphan :P)

Calypso; Rachel Hurd-Wood



Rachel would be really good for this role. She has the look and can act.

Travis and Connor Stoll; Dylan and Cole Sprouse



It was either them or James and Oliver Phelps. I prefer Dylan and Cole.

Charles Beckendorf; Tristan Wilds



He’s buff, and he’s close to how I imagined Beckendorf.

Silena Beauregard; Willa Holland



She just has a Silena-like look to me.

Katie Gardner; Lucy Hale



She has a sort of motherly/caring look to her, but can also be kind of fierce. Her face is very Demeter-like to me.
