... fuck you Tapiola (my bank) with a friggin' shovel. I want to do a wire transfer to Asia or alternatively set up a PayPal account. And you won't let me! *rage* I mean do I need to get an account from Nordea or Sampo to actually get something done? Hate you at the moment with a fiery passion. I mean, we live in the age of Internet shopping and whatnot, and you're still merely planning about maybe in the future making it possible for people to do wire transfers outside of Europe. Argh! Argh! Aaargh! *sigh* And I so do not want to go to my daddy to ask whether he could order me a doll from the other side of the world.
Yun Kouga: Loveless vol.1
I loved the anime and I sure do love the manga as well. The colour pictures are pretty, as is the rest of the art. Though occasionally the pages seemed a tad full. Soubi and his wifey Kio are still intense love^^ And the entire fuckedupness of the story is simply wonderful. Yes, I'll definitely get some more of Loveless.
Tomoko Hayakawa: The Wallflower vol. 6
Still beautiful, still makes me laugh. I mean a totally antisocial horror and gore fan living with four nancy boys very cute guys in a mansion. What could be a better starting point for a manga? No comments, please. But for the love of God, Sunako and Kyohei, you belong together. Go! Date! Shag!
Takanashi Mitsuba: The Devil Does Exist vol. 2
*giggles* The art is cute. The characters lovable. And it is very easy for me to relate to the step-siblings, new parents and new rules world of the album. Takeru and his dad are just to die for^^ And Kyoko is a wonderful best friend: gutsy, straightforward and encouraging.
You Higuri: Cantarella vol.1
I have been avoiding this title for quite some time, because I already have plenty of historical characters I really like (Alienor of Aquitaine, Leonardo da Vinci, Oscar Wilde,...) and i really didn't want to add Cesare and Lucrezia Borgia to that list. But, well, uh, I eventually ended up ordering volume 1 and actually liking it. Not great and the plot is taking some liberties from historical facts, but very pretty and slashy. And besides, Renaissance Italy! Politics around the Holy See!
CLAMP: xxxHolic vol. 6
It's CLAMP! Beautiful, funny, slashy. Yes! The art style and jokes are definitely to my liking. Though the plot is moving incredibly slowly.
