Wowza, that was one heck of a ride. An interesting mockumentary. Very intense and weird. The actors were most talented and did a superb job. And Callum Keith Rennie is hot, damn it. Hot in that gorgeously disheveled and definitly a bit edgy and punkish way that is just enough to make my knees a tad soft. Hugh Dillon did a pretty convincing job as well. There was enough of raw emotion, unsaid words, grit and filth to give it a most realistic colour. The intensity. The insanity. The diary entries. The slash.
"As the old axiom goes, being in a band is like being married; only here, it’s like trying to reconcile an old, bitter divorce after a long period of healing, only to find old wounds reopening that you thought long closed. If this is a love story, it’s Sid & Nancy meets The Odd Couple."
I need a smoke and there isn't a fag in the entire building. Neither is there any alcohol, so no chances for a drink. Damn. I guess I'll need to go write a Philosophy essay instead. Sartre~ Kierkegaard~ Voltaire~ Mmmmmmm
