I should be out jogging and shoveling snow right now, but first I need to rant. And whine. Because really, I'm just so, I don't know. Not well? Yeah

Oh my Jesus. I thought you were talking about the whole no more basic accounts thing today D: This... this censorship thing is going just a little too far. And by a little I mean a fucking lot.
Of course, I can't really say I'm surprised that they're censoring homosexuality, because hey, look what happens every time there's a Pride Parade in Russia. Plus, yeah, the situation with journalism and free speech is just atrocious. Suomen kuvalehti just had an article about it and who can really forget Anna Politkovskaja? D:

Well, some more lucrative sponsors can be scared away if there's anything even resembling controversial or possibly illegal (fanfiction, anybody?) material on the site they're sponsoring. Also according to reports of the whole Strikethrough '07 fiasco on Fandom Wank, one of the main reasons why 6A ended up deleting accounts for suspected pedophilia was that Warriors of Innocence was going to go to their sponsors (or possibly already did -> money loss inevitable).
So yeah. Big corporations/sponsors sure as heck want your money, but they themselves do not want to be connected to anything even mildly suspicious.
As for your health woes? ;__; Insomnia's a hard thing to beat. *rubs your fingers and toes to warm them*
LJ is one big soapbox^^ And I enjoy seeing other people use it as such.
I was just thinking about that marketing thing. Then again there aren't that many people who would have really innocent interests. I mean look at how popular alcohol and tobacco and such things are. Then again the USA has a very different approach to both.
