I know I haven't been around
Ok, so I may have to not do the every day thing. I've been super busy this week and that's why there have been a lack of postings. But here's today's.
Take a picnic
This can be done for anyone and can cost as much as you want. And this sounds like it's a romantic thing, but it's a fun thing to do with friends. Especially when you bring a bunch of things that they can put together themselves. My favorite thing to do is bring some salami, a baguette, some cheese, grapes, water bottles, and a bottle of wine. Example time!
Last summer, I have a couple that are friends of mine from middle school and we just happen to live near one another. They were coming to visit for a weekend and I thought that since it was supposed to be a beautiful day, I would pack a picnic that we could take to this beautiful park, Maymont. For one thing, if you live in Richmond and have never been there, shame on you. If you are visiting, you should check it out. I packed all of the above things plus a few other little tidbits. My friends came out to visit and two of my other friends came out. We sat under a tree and had a great time. I highly recommend it.
