Lots of things I don't understand

There are a lot of very complicated things in this world that I just don't understand. A short list include:

1. Relativity (Albert Einstein's version, not my family)
2. Theoretical Mathematics
3. Nuclear Engineering (make that any kind of engineering0
4. The Electoral College
5. C++ and other forms of computer language

I don't think this necessarily makes me an idiot. However, there are other things in this world that I think should make more sense to me but don't. Such as:

1. Why I have to pay the goverment about 30% of my salary. And then, when they don't get enough during the year, they take even more away during tax time. Plus, I love paying all this social security knowing full well that by the time all of the baby boomers are dead, there won't be any left for me.
2. Suicide. I understand that these people feel that there is no other way out than to end their own lives, but don't they understand the pain and hardships they cause in other people as well? They don't only affect their lives, but literally hundreds if you think about it. All of their friends and family members are affected, and then, it's just a ripple affect from there.
3. Karma. It seems like it takes forever to get a high enough supply of good karma to have something good happen to you. However, as soon as you do something wrong, karma comes around and bites you in the butt about 30 seconds later.
4. Crocs as everyday footwear. Ok, they were made to go in the garden which I understand they are fantastic for. However, they are actually not very good for your feet (I don't care how comfortable people say they are), not to mention they are as ugly as sin. Yet, some people have them in every color. And they're kinda pricey ($30). Old Navy flip flops: 2 pair = $5 in any

Ok, those were my musings, possibly for the month, but I had to put them somewhere.
