Just a little bio...
I thought I'd share a little about myself for anyone who cares to look. XD Plus it's definitely high time I posted something in my sad excuse for a journal. XP
Before I start rambling, though, I'd like to thank everyone who's friended me! *huggles* I was really busy when I started livejournal, so I never really made an effort to find friends or post anything :P but, with school having ended, I have more time on my hands and plan to be a little more active, although this journal's primary purpose has been and will continue to be to join comms and fangirl i.e.lurk :)
I should probably add that I won't be even a quarter -heck, an eighth as avid an entry poster as some (a lot) on here are, seeing as my life is very, very boring -it also doesn't help that I'm still expected to study through the summer for the slew of exams I have to take before college T_T Life is unfair. Excuses aside, even if I don't post much in my own journal, I'll certainly check in often to see everyone else's entries :)

Occupation: School. I have no siblings, home-school (it's not like what you're probably thinking, however :P) and I'll be a Senior this fall. I plan on dual majoring in Electrical Engineering and Economics/Management when I get to University (although my Dad wants to make an actuary out of me -_-) and, for the record, I do actually like studying so long as it doesn't impinge on my many other hobbies ^^

I LOVE manga and anime, particularly yaoi, shounen-ai, and shounen. I don't really read much shoujo, though. Certainly not as much as the aforementioned trio :) Oh, and I have got a bad case of shipping fever :P I also dabble in Asian dramas and love video games. In my spare time, I enjoy writing, reading, philosophy, drawing, fashion-designing (I am determined to learn how to sew from patterns over the summer), tennis, cooking, and playing the piano (I wish I could say I'm a virtuoso at it, but, sadly, my lessons didn't last very long or pay off much and my 10 year old cousin plays exponentially better than me).
I studied French for 5 years and while I have the grammar down, I really want/need to improve my conversational skills. You could say it's a case of slow internal processing speed XP. I've also studied Japanese for about a year now and am currently focusing on memorizing all the Joyo Kanji; I have the first 1000 done from the Kyoiku subset and they're already starting to leak out, though... it feels like I'm force-feeding my brain.
Most people say I'm quite open-minded, pretty sarcastic, hell-bent on my goals, generally cynical, a paradox of idealist and realist, awfully competitive, sometimes brutally honest, sometimes just silly, very perverted and very mature usually; I guess some of those are good things... right? O_O I am also, apparently, not very girly, although I do have my crazy, squealing fangirl moments (just when most people aren't watching hahaha).

I have absolutely NO romance in my life, for better or worse, and am probably one of the few teenagers (at least, of the ones I know) who feels like time goes by WAY TOO FAST. Seriously: it's scary. I listen to a lot of different songs/music styles, but, to be honest, it's usually more of a question of tolerability rather than personal taste :P
