woo, one week till kill hannah. starting to feel psyched. yay.
found out last night that ligers are real. who would have thought?
the whole deal with markie getting suspended / detention for saying "jesus christ" is utterly ridiculous. no one can justify punishing someone in a public school for using dear old jesus's name in vain. give me a break. this isnt catholic school. and for the people who say that it is equivalent to swearing, how is it any different than saying "jay leno" or "moby"? its a name, for crying out loud. you cannot punish someone for saying it.
and for the other people with the arguement that you can punish her because saying jesus's name in vain may offend other people, your arguement is just as weak. what if i said i was offended by, say, kim boonie wearing religious shirts all the time? should kim be punished just because her shirt violates my religious beliefs?
the answer? no. and neither should markie.
anyone else watch lost tonight? it was eh. a little too "jurassic park" for me.
my mom is watching hawaii right now. damn that show. they took ivan sergei off of crossing jordan so he could be on that. crossing jordan is the shit.
and since today is wednesday, that means my mother shall be watching rescue me at 10. and that makes wednesdays very fun, because "cmon cmon" by the von bondies is the theme song for that show. so for a thrilling 45 seconds that i look forward to each week, i get to hear awesome von bondie-ness on tv.
now that i typed that, i realize how pathetic my life is.
