Disclaimer: I'm inclined to suggest that this isn't happening, never happened, and will never happen. For if it did heads would explode and baby caterpillars would never get their wings.
Summary: Kidnapped at a young age because he was a genius, it took Jensen years to be able to escape. Before he could escape he fell in love with a retainers son, Jared. Before he escaped Jared became a retainer like his father, so that he could be around Jensen when ever he wanted. Now, he has to track and capture the one person he loves.
Notes: Just moving this over because I'm going to attempt to write more on it.

“Have you seen this man?” The tall, mysterious man asked, holding up a five by seven, black and white picture, of a man working at a service station.
The bartender looked at the picture then turned her attention to the man asking. He wore what seemed to be a brand new, black duster, worn blue jeans, hanging loose on his hips, and a black, faded, clingy t-shirt. Terri couldn’t get a fix on the guy. He hid his eyes behind dark shades, and looked like he hadn’t smiled in years. Glancing back down at the picture, Terri shrugged “That’s Jen,” she answered turning back to the cabinet, rearranging various bottles.
“So you know him. When was he last here.”
“’course I know him, he worked here.” She said turning back to the man, “but you missed him by,” she replied looking at the calendar behind the bar, “a week.”
“Dammit!” the dangerous looking man hissed, turning and stalking out.
Terri walked over to the window and watched the man leave, pulling out her cell, she keyed in the now familiar number, “Babe, that man you said to watch for was just here. I know, but you take care. I’ll miss you too Jen, you were one hell of a bartender.” She sighed as she closed her phone. Time to find a new bartender.

“Oh God! Jare, right there!” the older man screamed. He didn’t like being handcuffed to the bed, but he had known the younger man since he was fifteen; he went as far as to trust him with his life.
“Baby… s’tight…” Jared moaned pushing into Jensen feeling the tight heat around his cock. He dipped his head and began sucking a mark on the captive man’s neck. “S’hot, Jen, baby you have no idea what you do to me.” Jared began thrusting harder into the body beneath him. Groaning each time, the other man would gasp.
“Dammit! Fucking touch me!” The captive man shouted, he had been begging for a good twenty minutes already. The pressure building to the point if he didn’t find release he thought he would die. The younger man just laughed, as he took Jensen’s throbbing member into his hand. Stroking upwards, his thumb danced around the slit, before running under the head. He stroked the man slowly while he continued to slam into him, searching for his own release, but still teasing Jensen for a few more seconds. Jared gradually stroked faster, adding more pressure until with a scream and grunt the older man came over his hands. Jared was only able to last pounding into the contracting muscles a couple more times before he rode out his orgasm, coming deep within Jensen. Pulling out he kissed the other mans temple before rolling off the bed and pulling his clothes back on. “Jay” the older man said sounding nervous, “let me loose”
“Can’t do that Jen.” He said picking up his phone. “You knew who I was before you allowed me to handcuff you.”
“So I’m just a fuck and a payday?” he hissed between his teeth.
“No, you’re so much more, but I have my job.” Jared walked out of the room and started talking on the phone. “Yea, I caught up with him… Have a team meet me in Virginia… I’ll be able to handle him until then.” Closing his phone and ending the call, Jared walked back into the room. “Son of a bitch” he yelled looking at the discarded cuffs and the open window. Grabbing his keys he darted out of the apartment in hopes of catching Jensen.
Present Day - 2007 July 02
Jensen stared out of the bus window, surrounded with the vivid memory. He still can’t get over how stupid he had been, and for a genius like him that was just pathetic, but damn he had loved Jared since the center, hell, even after the young man hurt him, he still loved him. Why was Jared destined to be a retainer? Jensen wiped away the lone tear that trailed down his cheek, and debated where he should go now.
He’s glad he had told Terri about being a pretender, and about Jared. He hated talking about Jared, but he needed an ally, Jared had just been getting too close, so Jensen started taking precautions everywhere he stayed at longer than a couple days. He had been in North Carolina for a week and a half, working as a bartender for eight of those days, when he had trusted Terri enough to tell her about Jared. He explained that he was a pretender, that Jared was a retainer, and showed her a picture of Jared asking her to call him if she saw him. When he got the call, he was packed and leaving within the hour. Now he was in Mississippi. He didn’t get a job this time, instead he used one of the many accounts he had stowed money in for an apartment and then he kept a low profile. Rarely leaving except at night, so that he was less likely to be recognized by someone Jared worked with. It sounded paranoid, but Jared knew Jensen, so he had to be cautious.
His cell started to vibrate, and when he looked at the screen he sighed. Walking over to his laptop he hooked his phone to it, and then double clicked on a program he had written. When he got confirmation that the call would be sent to different cell towers through out the U.S., he answered the phone.
“What do you want Jared.”
“Same thing I’ve been wanting. Only you”
“You won’t find me, by calling my phone.”
“I know that, hell I was there most of the time they were running tests.”
“Why the hell did you call?”
“I was just thinking, you remember that summer at the center?” he sighed “The summer you kissed me?”
“And we snuck off through the air vents?” Jensen asked, “and when your father asked how we got out, you refused to tell him?”
“Yeah, Jenny” he whispered “I’m so sorry, I didn’t want to be a retainer, all I ever wanted was to be with you. I figured if I became a retainer I could always be at the center, close enough to touch you.” He whispered before raising his voice slightly, “You just had to escape didn’t you?”
“Jare, you know why I had to escape. They were using me, having me make plans of attack against people that didn’t do anything to me. Jared, they fucking kidnapped me when I was four! I don’t even know what my fucking last name is!” he yelled through the phone, anger consuming him.
“Jen, I’m sorry. I really am, but I have to catch you.”
“I know Jay.”
“I guess we weren’t meant to be” Jared said before he thought about it.
“I guess so” Jensen said closing his phone, slumping in the chair and crying.
Montana
Jared sighed as he shut his cell. He pushed his sunglasses back over his eyes and turned to the only other ally that Jensen had in the center.
William Sydney was in late fifties. He had white, balding hair, he was a little plump, spoke in an Australian accent, and had the presence that command attention. He was the one that was always with Jensen while he grew up in the center. Jensen had slowly become like a son to him. He missed the boy dearly, and could only guess at how tore up Jared was over it. He had known about the two boys since Jared was thirteen; a couple weeks after the two boys got caught seeking around in the center. No one else even suspected a thing, not even Jared’s dad, who was trained to notice details as to catch any runaway patients.
“How’d it go?” he asked frowning at the boy.
“Don’t think he’ll ever forgive me for what I did to him in North Carolina.”
“Can’t really blame him, now can you?”
“No, Syd, I can’t.” Jared replied, “Why did this have to get so fucked up?”
“You mean, why did Jensen have to escape?” he replied studying the young boy, “You know the same as me, that if it were one of us, we would have wanted our freedom also”
“Dammit, Syd, you’re supposed to be trying to get him back too!” Jared all but yelled at him trying to remain calm.
“Yes I am, but I also want him to live the life he was meant to live.”
“How can you want two totally different things? They’re in conflict. You’ll never be able to have them both.”
“Ah, that’s where wanting one more, and hoping it’s the one that becomes the outcome, comes into play.” Sydney replied smiling the way that made Jared feel like he was still thirteen and had so much to learn.
“So which do you want more?”
“I think you know that Jared. Just like I think you want the same thing.” Sydney replied turning and climbing into his own car. “Good luck at catching him, Jared, God knows you’ll need it.” Jared just nodded, climbed in his own car and left.
