It's been awhile since I last updated. I've just been busy or my life has in fact been to boring to update on. But since my last update a couple of noteworthy things have happened. Last Friday I saw Hamlet, which was beyond the telling of amazing. When Katie cried, I wanted to cry. And Ophelia was absolutely stunning and her chemistry with Hamlet was really vibrant, especially in the "get you to a nunnery" scene. Now I just hope that my grade can somehow carry the burden of '05s spectacular acting skills. Without that group of people our plays have a heightened risk of not being quite as good. But, nonetheless I have faith in Chels, Katie, Chris, and Sally to do stunningly. Mmm.. how I love being friends with talented people.
On Friday (this one), I went to Claire's for le 'thonnage, which actually turned out to be rather wussy 'thonnage, but that's not the point. Mark, the naked muskrat one? yeah that one, was really quite hairless, as expected. It was a little eerie- his legs were smoother than ours. It really made me want to shave. Those crazy swimmers. But we gorged on junk food and thonned and spent it all in one place and had serious, thoughtful, lovely, conversations before bed. Conversations during which Em and Sara both fell asleep. Hey, Claire and I enjoyed it, so much so that we were up until 4'ish. In all seriousness, I think the five of us- Claire, Mark, Sara, Em and I- probably have the coolest friendship ever. I love spending my time with them. It's insane really. When we plan to hang out, my week almost literally goes faster because I'm so excited to be with them. Mmm... just got that warm fuzzy feeling...
Sunday I went to Jenn's and got to hang out with Ryan and Eric (awesome people by the way), play Egyptian Ratscrew, play dress up (and yes, the guys were most definitely included), eat fondue, throw broccoli at each other, eat carnations, eat fondued carnations, eat beastly chocolate cake from a bowl (can you tell there was a lot of eating?), and heard way too much about Jasson's sex life for comfort. Oh! And I met Jenn's new puppy Willabe who is the cutest dog in the history of ever. Way better than demon dog Rory. I swear my dog is a hellhound trained to attack formal wear... don't ask. I asked to trade but Jenn turned me down.
But anyway, now I'm a lot confused and a little depressed and seriously procrastinating with my history reading. I'm gonna go try that reading bit again and wallow in the confusion and depression later. Just kidding, about the latter part. I'm not much of a wallow-er.
Anyway, love! And happy birthday Em! I <3 you *this much!*
