I'm so lazy I can't be bothered to do this meme myself but it looked like fun so I thought I'd post it in case someone else wanted to have a try:
1. Pick five songs that most people would know.
2. Select lyrics of up to but not surpassing 150 words from each one.
3. Go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr
4. Enter the lyrics thus:
English to German
German to French
French to Portugeuse
Portugeuse to English
5. Post the resultant gobbledegook and ask people to figure out what the songs are.
The actual lyrics will be posted behind LJ-cuts as people guess them, plus a link to the rest of the song. (It's no fun unless you can compare the gibberish with the real thing.)
