antique store binge
Allow me to wander an antique store and I will always find something. My treasure hunt includes a vintage 60-70's burnt orange round velvet pillow and an antique miniture teacup that is gold and gilded, with a pretty couple from the 1700's lounging about the roses on the front. I also couldn't resist 3 old pictures from the late teens/early 20's of a man and a woman frolicing about the trees. You can barely see them for all that greenery. They are unusual, i like them alot. All that lovliness for $8.
I have my eye on a vintage golden green damask sofa for the future place, I hope no one wants it but me! My next dwelling will be an eclectic blend of 60's, 70's and posh victoriana. It's going to be odd but that's to be expected. I envision alot of velvety chairs, a closet full of strange boardgames and a fully stocked wine rack. And I am going to make a Ouija board coffeetable!
