Saturday. After what seemed to be the longest week of all times, it was finally the day Lee Seunghyun would be meeting the guys who could become his new roommates. Joonhee-noona, his current roommate's girlfriend, bought him a nice t-shirt he could wear to the 'interview' he was to go through before having any opportunity of living with those guys. It took Changyeon some persuasion because he was already very attached to Seungri but once he had read the poster with the pen-names, he immediately approved and judged that those guys could have his precious roommate.

Joonhee and Changyeon were really nice about it and even drilled him with a few questions so he'd be ready for anything. He thought he was ready, so at 4PM, he got a hug from his noona and a punch to his shoulder from his hyung before he left. It was all good, he was positive, ready and his heart was pounding like mad as he drove his Sonata to the address on the paper.

Everything was perfect.

...Until it became a disaster.

"Come on. Come on. Start!" Seungri yelled as he turned the key in the ignition once more and heard the engine almost live... but it died again. He looked at the time; it was already past 5PM. "Great. Just great..."

He tried a couple more times and banged his head against the wheel, sounding the horn with each hit. This was why people did not buy second hand cars this aged and forget to get it checked monthly. Now he was late and immovable and maybe just lost his chance of ever seeing that fair-haired guy again.... and just for thinking about him, he hit his head on the wheel again making one long hooting sound.

A tap sound was heard on his window. He sighed, now this was without doubt a police officer about to ask him why he was pulled over in the wrong way of traffic. He sat upright and lowered his window. He looked up and saw a fairly short man with a faux-hawk wearing a dark blue boiler suit and a few dark stains on his face.

"Hello sir, not that I wasn't minding my business or anything but you seem like you are jammed." The man started, looking at the vehicle and then back at Seungri.

The young man in the car almost wanted to scream all the curses in the world at this guy for stating the obvious so dumbly but when he saw the smile gracing his features with his eyes forming little moons, he just dropped all his frustration.

"... Yeah. I think the engine died on me." He replied calmly, rubbing his forehead that hurt a bit from all the banging. "I forgot to go to the garage this month."

"I can take a look if you want." The guy offered, "I happen to work in a garage."

It looked like Seungri's good fortune finally got back up again.

"Sure?"

"Please open the hood."

Seungri did as he was told and then stepped out of the car to observe the guy working on his car, inspecting the inside of the automobile carefully.

"I think I know what's wrong." He pulled a wrench out like cartoon characters pulled random items out of hammer space. He twisted this and that and then went back to his car to get a jumper cable, "We're going to have to jump-start it.... Everything was pretty wobbly in that." He said, "How old?"

Seungri grumbled. "11 years old."

"I know how old this Sonata is, I meant you. You look a little young for driving something this prehistoric." The grease monkey said, connecting the cables between the two cars with his red and black alligator clips.

"I'm 19... This is all I can afford." He said, patting the car.

"Better get something more recent, you're going to spend six times its worth in repairs if you keep trying to push that antique around." The guy said and headed for his car, "I'm going to boost it, you go try starting it."

It took them a few times but ultimately, Seungri's car's engine softly roared back to life and seemed to work all right. The garage worker took his cable back and rolled it using his forearm, and put it around his shoulder. "All good to go wherever you want to go now."

"Thank you so much," Seunghyun said, smiling at the shorter man. ".... uhm. What's your name?"

"Dong Youngbae." The other replied with that grin that made his eyes disappear again. "Who may you be?"

"Lee Seunghyun," He bowed at the man, catching a quick look of the watch at the other's wrist. "Yaah!! It's 6:27?!!"

"None of my business but are you late for something?" Youngbae asked, blinking at the guy who was almost pulling his hair out. "I can't possibly fly you there but I could accompany you to make sure your car doesn't meet its maker on the way."

"Yeah, yeah. Great idea. Uhm." Seungri was blinking so many times that the other guessed something was up with the guy and that someone was surely waiting for him. He seemed very nervous.

The grease monkey wiped his hands on a rag he got from his trunk, "Your girlfriend is waiting for you?"

"What? No. No. I'm single. No. Uh. Something important, I have to go there." Seungri said and pulled the neon colored paper with the wanted roommate ad on it out of his pocket. The other man winced at the bright orange shade of the paper before actually reading it and Seungri could see various expressions on the guy's face: pure bewilderment, a lot of frowning then realization and a smile.

"I can take you there." He announced, "I was going in that direction."

They both went back to their respective cars, Seungri driving ahead of Youngbae. It took them a little less than ten minutes to get to what seemed to be a regular family house. Youngbae got out of his car first and knocked on the other guy's window, seeing that the guy had some earphones on. Seungri looked up and pulled the earphone out of his ear before opening the door.

"Thank you for coming with me, Youngbae-sshi."

They shook hands before Seungri headed for the house.

"You're welcome." The grease monkey said before following.

Seungri was befuddled, why was the guy following him all the way to the residence and even to the porch and staying even after he rang the door bell? There was loud music he could not recognize playing from the inside and Seungri guessed people just could not hear him inside.

"Those guys, I swear..." Youngbae said and pulled a set of keys out of his pocket before unlocking the door and opening it.

".... huuuuuh?!" The other male looked at the opened entrance and at the guy who unlocked it.

Youngbae grinned, "Taeyang, at your service."

Seungri remembered the names on the sheet and remembered that this 'Taeyang' was the very first he called the other day when he got the paper. He was still baffled.

"Come in." The short guy said, heading inside and taking his sneakers off.

Seungri took his shoes off too and followed the other into the house and Youngbae started showing him the various rooms that they were passing by, Seungri noticed that the home was mainly of whites, blacks, grays and highlights of bright colors depending on the room and it was all very western style. Surely they hired an interior designer... When they reached the living room, the first thing that caught Seunghyun's attention was the guy near the stereo, dancing his head off to some trot music. He blinked and stared a little longer than what was considered respectful.

Youngbae laughed heartily when he saw the other's expression and he went for the stereo system and pressed the stop button. "We have a guest, the interview guy. Get your mp3 player instead, trot-head."

"AW, that was the best part of the song, hyung! Whyyyy?" The third guy said. He was fairly taller than Youngbae, had really small eyes and a tanned complexion in comparison to the two others. He turned to Seungri and opened his eyes wide enough that they were actually visible. "Oh. OH. Hi there!"

Seungri bowed, "I'm Lee Seunghyun... Could you happen to be Choi Seunghyun-sshi?"

The two others looked shocked on the spot, staring at Seungri before looking at each other and bursting into a fit of laughter that got the still nameless guy falling against Youngbae and clinging to his shoulders while the shortest guy was holding his stomach and laughing so hard that tears formed at the corners of his eyes.

"... what's so funny?"

They stopped laughing and stared at the guy like he just grew a second head before cracking up even harder, the tanned guy falling over on the floor and rolling while Taeyang was trying to stop laughing with a lot of trouble.

"Dork laughing his stomach out here is Kang Daesung, or D-Lite." The grease monkey pointed down.

"H-hi... wh-w-what's u-hahahaha!" Daesung waved before laughing against the floor covering some more. Seungri did not get why this was so comical anyways, he just asked a question.

"... Dae, what the heck is this funny?"

A deeper voice was heard from behind them and they all turned upon hearing it.

"Hi, Seunghyun-hyung." Youngbae and Daesung said in unison.

"This is Lee Seunghyun, the guy you have been waiting for. He was stuck with a car that wouldn't start and I helped him. I couldn't make it earlier and him either, sorry." The grease monkey pointed Seungri, "I'm off to take a shower and then I'm going to start on dinner, okay? See you guys."

Daesung raised a finger in the air like he had the idea of the century and he dashed off, "My mp3 player is on the charger!"

"...Hi." Said the new guy in the house.

"Hello." The other replied, "I wanted all four of us to be here when we talk but it's almost seven... Mind if we get to it now, I will have to get ready for work after dinner."

"... sure."

Seungri was frozen when made eye contact with Seunghyun. Not only his voice felt intimidating: his looks, his stance, his eyes, even the way he pushed his glasses up against his nose before gesturing so the younger would follow.... It all made Seungri understand two things: The difference between Seunghyun and Daesung was as big as Australia and that this was going to be much harder than practice with Changyeon and Joonhee.
