REASONS TO MOVE (part I)

Feb 09, 2010 16:59

1. Too many people here- crowds in trains, streets, stores, bars, i.e. every damn where you go.
2. Should gain different perspectives- lived in NY almost all of my adult life.
3. Weather.
4. Want to be outdoors more.
5. Want more space in general- in apt, outdoors, etc.
6. More access to nature- parks, recreation.
7. Want to start fresh- not running away, but kind of want to be where not too many people know me. Possibility for reinvention and improvement, to be who I am, not who I was.
8. (possibly contrary to #7, but…) Want to be closer to some of my coolest family members and a couple of very old friends.
9. The size of NYC can cause isolation.
10. Sick of the notion that NYC is the only cool place in the world, which is snobby and ridiculous.
