COMET ALL-STARS BACK AGAIN AT LAST, THE BEST OF THE BEST, LEAVING SECOND IN THE PAST!!!!!
wow. its so great. yesterday at competition we got first place. we beat jersey knights and it was so great. i love those girls so much, they are like my life, and now, its all over. and im gunna miss it like crazy. all of are dumb practices where all we did was joke around, and kellys little "oprah talks" ohhh man.
well. we all got to the gym at about 9, then we had bagels and listened to our music about 24987549 times. then we all got on the bus. we were probably on the bus for like an hour, and all of us wanted food, and we needed to go to the bathroom, so we stopped at some reststop. the bathrooms were gross. but it was fun, cause we were all so pumped.
then we finally got to wildwood (the woods that are wild. haha ash) and then we just practiced on the beach for a little bit, and whatnot. finally it was our turn to go on, right after the jersey knights. it took us about 5 hundred hours to brush all that sand off our feet. hahaha.
so then jk was in front of us, and we wanted to be good sports, so we were cheering for them. when they went on to perform, me and alannah were holding hands. as soon as we heard "watch out here we come" we both squeezed so tight. it was disgusting lol. then when two of there lifts fell, me alannah and megan were so happyy!! hahah it was grrrrreat. then we went on and we did absolutly PERFECT. we hit everything, and it was soooo fabulous. i loved every minute of being on that mat, it was the last time we would ever perform our routine together. sooooooo saddd.
it was so great. because the announcer said the greatest things.."i havent even announced the comets yet, and all the fans are already screaming".."wow, looks like the comets want some redemption".. and the bestttttt of all, the announcer said.."DO IT UP GIRLS!!" haha it was sooooo absolutly great, and it pumped us up sooo much.
finally, the awards came..and they got to senior novice.."in 2nd place.................................cricket cricket......................jersey knights" after he said that we alll wennnnt completly nuts, and jumped all over the place. and hugged and kissed each other, and cried like maniacs. then he said it.."and in first place, the comet all-stars" it was the best moment of my life. we were all hysterical. then we took our trophy and ran all the way to the water, since the competition was on the beach. seriously, i think i kissed the trophy atleast 55 times.
then we all got back on the bus, with our favorite bus driver steve. (aka stevie or steve-o) and it was such a great ride home. then when we got back to the gym, we all did our cheer for the last time, and i hugged everyone. i miss them already <333.
