I was outside pulling weeds today when my little girl neighbor came over to chat with me. She just turned five and she says the cutest damn things. Today her little dog was nudging me and I said something like, "Look at Maggie loving on me!" and my little girl neighbor said, "That's because she knows you're her babies' other mama." Oy- I could smush her to pieces.
Today I received my official offer at the agency. As of May 1 I will be employed as a therapist! I'll even have an office and everything. ;) The pay is so-so, but it's only until July 1. I can negotiate for more money when I go full-time. And I say the money is "so-so" but of course it's more than I've ever made in my entire life.
What else. A client that I had planned on terminating with next week made a major breakthrough today, so I asked my supervisor if I could keep her on after May 1. All of my clients think I am leaving after next week, so I had been preparing them for termination. I'll know tomorrow what we plan on doing as far as transitioning.
Oh, I just feel crampy and bloated. I don't even really feel like showering, though I should. Oh, I know- how excellent was David Cook's performance last night? Actually let me give a quick rundown:
David C- VERY good. Not his usual original take on something, but really showcased his vocal abilities. I really like him.
Syesha- She bores me. No, really- she does.
Carly- Excellent. Brought back lots of memories. Bitch can sing.
Brooke- I am tired of her stupid facial expressions. I can't even describe it right now- the whole "oh i am so sensitive and i'm so INTO the song and i always look like i'm about to start CRYING"
David A- Eh. He's very talented but he's too young and quite frankly, he's boring too.
Jason- I know that his vocals weren't that great, but I really like him and I didn't think his performance was as bad as the judges said.
Anyway, I'm hoping it comes down to Carly and David Cook and I won't be unhappy if either one wins.
