Mmmm, pomegranate juice
So, yesterday it snowed like a sonofabitch. I was almost afraid to drive home, but lo and behold, I get a phone call from Rick. His Jeep has broken down again and he needs a ride to work. I said sure, but I was nervous about driving. Turns out, the roads weren't bad at all. It was cool to go and pick him up because we really haven't hung out at all since the Springsteen concert. Granted, we only hung out for like 45 minutes, but it was still cool. We still plan on going to the Cracker concert on Sunday. It should be a good time.
Okay, I have this new friend at work named Roman. He just happens to be my desk sharing partner and I love him! He makes me laugh so hard. He's gay, he just doesn't know it yet, I swear. He called me last night from work and just talked and talked for like a half hour. I am his unofficial fruit fly, apparently. We might hang out on Friday, but we aren't sure yet.
Hmm, what else happened? Oh, =( They moved my grandma to intermediate care and while they were doing that, they accidentally pulled out her epidural, so she was in excrutiating pain, but they didn't know they had pulled out the epidural. She was so upset and in such pain that they had to call my aunt at 1:15 in the morning to see if she could come over and calm her down. I guess she is just really having a hard time emotionally with all of this. She says she has seen her father and that she has seen a white light with people there, but she didn't know them. She doesn't like to be alone. It really makes me sad. I should go and visit her after I am done voting today. Sometimes I just wish that she would pass for her sake. She doesn't want to be here and she is in such pain.
