This journal is a mix between Friends-locked posts and Public posts.  I generally do add anyone who adds me, but a comment is always nice.

Please keep me. Your posts keep me centered and vicariously living through twins. (I'm beginning to fear I may not see genetic grand children.)

I am frequently lifted by the love in your family. Sure, there are down moments....if people say there aren't, they're lying.

I have a cat rescue question. A pregnant dilute tortie was dropped out here...major bulging. She has obviously been loved and indoors. She loves the dogs and stands up to the "sisters from hell" She vanished for a week and I gave up, but a week ago she came back. 2 nights ago, she didn't come over for dinner....yup. She has them in
an old american car with a broken window. They are 2 days old. I don't want them to grow up wild. Should I bring them in in the dog carrier and just make sure she doesn't escape? I figured I should wait a week or so so she feels more secure. (She has been in the house 2Xs, but she was wary. Tonight, she came right up into the house for dinner....put the ornery sisters in their place. AUGH! It's been too many years since we've had a pregnant dumpee out here. I'm giving her space, so I haven't seen them yet. The dogs are confused because evidently her hormones are crazy...she rubs on them, then rips their faces off. They're tiptoeing around here never knowing if they'll get cuddges or claws.

When the population started to grow out here, the cat dumpees diminished. It's been 4 years since we've had one. Used to be a monthly thing. Wish people would leave 20 lbs of cat food and a check for neutering:P
