day 3, seeing tiny differences

I'm finally seeing some difference in my waist size. Yay ;P That's always the first noticable change.

Today's going to be a little weird. I work a 5-hour shift in which I only get one break. I'm wondering if my employers are trying to phase me out? ~_~ I've only been given 12 hours next week. Hrm.

Ah well... As soon as I can get back into superawesomehot shape, I'd like to try my hand at modelling regularly for a living.. while getting my personal training certification.

ANYway. I won a free Starbucks lunch for finishing my coffee passport. The only actual lunch we have that is gluten free is our Fiesta Salad. I could've chosen a fruit cup too, but I'd rather get the most out of free stuff ;D

I'm off at 4:30, so I'd like to hit the gym right away. I'm taking a protein bar and hiding it in my apron pocket along with a breath mint >_> I'll go to the restroom and scarf it down if I get hungry before I'm off. Otherwise, I'll just... scarf it when I'm off, then go work out =/ Not the preferred approach, but I've gotta do what I've gotta do.

Meal 1: 1/3 cup oatmeal, 2 apricots, 2 tbs flaxseed meal, 3 eggwhites

Meal 2: Soy yogurt, 4 oz. turkey

Meal 3: Fiesta Salad

Meal 4: Detour protein bar

PM: Already felt "warmed up" from the busy'ness at work. Back, 20m cardio (elliptical, 1 resistence, around 120-130 strides per minute.)

PWO: 2 oz. yams, 1/2 scoop Gold Standard whey protein

Meal 5: Chicken breast, 1 cup green beans

Meal 6: 5 eggwhites, 1 cup spinach

Calories: 1518
Fat: 34g
Carbs: 157g
Fiber: 32g
Protein: 146g

I'm so sleepy today. The hell? ~_~

I'm all poochy this evening. Must be all the sodium from the eggwhites and fiesta salad. And so, dinner shall be chicken abd green beans rather than soup. I think I'll stop doing the soup because of that sodium x_x And find another option other than eggwhites at night. Many fitness competitors cut out eggwhites as a source of protein when they near a competition because of how it pooches your stomach.

I got an extra workout tonight. One of the closers at my store called in sick, so I went back in from 6:30 - 8:30. On top of all of the closing duties, we had to move furniture down from the upstairs and rearrange things, aaand carry a bunch of boxes from the back room into a hallway. The reason? Remodelling. That's also why we closed so early (usually it's at 10:30.)

I'm exhausted o_x And surprised at myself because I don't really feel the need/urge to eat extra calories today because of it.

What a day.
