Wow... I'm doing another quiz. That's like 2 in a few months. That's unheard of for me... am I becoming the masses? hehehe.

So it's not really accurate, either... I've not updated my interest list in a few years... not since Rachel harrassed me into doing so the last time (when I hadn't updated since creating my LJ, a few years before that)... and I didn't really put that much thought into it either time. Maybe one of these days...

1. bardo pond:
   Rough and raw dark psychedelic tones/textures with acid inspired poetry read/sang by a delightful wood nymph. If you know me you know why that strikes me.
2. coldplay:
   The first time I ever heard them I was like "hello adult contemporary". Now I guess I like adult contemporary. I'm still a sucker for clean melodies despite my love of the chaos sound. I wouldn't have put them on this list, though; if said list is indeed supposed to be "super" interests of mine.
3. donnie darko:
   If you don't know donnie darko you probably shouldn't know me. Questioning reality. Outsiders. Magic of sorts. And a killer soundtrack.
4. fugazi:
   More from the past, but I still rock every now and again. I more enjoy their idealogy than the music nowadays, generally speaking, but they have some tracks/albums that are perfect for what they are. Anyone for some Turkish Disco?
5. jim carrey:
   I like to fall down, make faces, make noises, and just be a weird mother fucker. Who cares if it's mainstream? I'm not going to not like something or someone just because others do, although I doubt I'd go put myself in a gathering of Jim Carrey fans.
6. mogwai:
   I still dig them, but don't find them to be as much as a mindfuck. Still prefer seeing them live to recorded. Wish there was more dancing and less schmucks when they were live.
   
   Still think Surgeon's remix of Mogwai Fear Satan is the best mogwai track out there... one big shifting pulsating wave and wall of sound that most folks probably don't hear.
7. peter paul and mary:
   If you know me you get this. Yes, I still love the fuck out of them. Good simple folk with a perspective from the past... further even than the time they existed in. This shite grounds me.
8. sensations:
   Of all sorts... and experiencing them. Yep, I'm all about that.
9. sunshine:
   It feeds me; I am a plant. Although I certainly enjoy darkness greatly as well. But it's about the balance yo.

    Music to fuck to. I'm down with the trip hop.
