I feel a lot better about being a corporate whore for a company where my HR guy is "the phantom hillbilly" who does weird short films about drugs and sex and metal and most of all... humor. Good guy. I'm going to steal some samples from one of the movies he was showing tonight, and potentially work with him further on future projects? We'll see I guess eh... it's getting to the point where I've more interest in collaboration than time. But this is good.
Another thing I enjoyed about this evening, before I head out again, was the sense of community in the space we were in. That special portland community. I'm glad to be easing myself back into it, via a variety of avenues. Where people are real.
