The room was dark, the only light illuminating the dark living room was the kitchen light; which seemed to have brightened the red carpet. The figure on the couch was hunched over and his features were hard to make out. His blue eyes were piercing as he stared at the body limp body that lie on the floor. A smirk crawled across his face as the said body tried to move without much success.
"Reita...?" The blonde on the floor cried out, attempting to move his arm out to reach the bassist.
A snake like grin grew across Reita's face before he shook his head.
"I'm sorry, Saga-san..Reita's not here right now." The elder bassist held a wicked delight in his voice as he spoke to the younger blonde.
Saga whimpered as he listened to the other speak, not taking his eyes off the taller man as he moved towards him. He couldn't move, his body was heavy and it was like he had no control over what was going on. He whimpered softly as he looked up at Reita who happened to be hovering over him at that moment, making the elder man laugh faintly in sick satisfaction.
"What are you doing..?" Came Saga's slurred words as Reita picked him up and propped him against the base of the couch.
"Taking your pain away, just like you asked." He replied, giving that evil smile and it made Saga shudder in fear.
The elder male gently placed Saga's head against the arm of the couch since he couldn't hold it up himself before he gently took Saga's left arm and extended it towards himself. All the while the younger male was watching him in fear, but he held more curiousity than he did fear. He had always known his co-worker was unique, but he wasn't quite sure just how unique this man was.
Saga partly snapped out of his drugged curiousity as his arm grew cold, and his fingertips falling numb. As any normal human would, he looked over at his arm to see the cause of this strange feeling. A yellowish rubberband was tied around his forearm which left him a little more curious than he should have been. He looked over to his friend only to be left shocked that he was playing with a thin needle.
"Are you ready, Princess?" Asked Reita as he turned around with the needle between two of his fingers, his thumb placed on the bottom.
It was at that moment Saga had willed his body to move, though he still couldn't feel or move much, he was moving across the floor away from Reita. He didn't get far before he was drug back by his ankle and the older male was crawling ontop of him.
"Reita! Stop! Please, stop it!" Saga cried out as Reita had pinned him down to the floor on his stomach.
"Reita's not here!" He hissed out to the trapped man.
He placed his knee down on the back of Saga's neck to keep him still and he pulled out his left arm again, placing it straight in his lap. He tightened the rubber band around his arm again patiently waiting for those blue veins to appear brighter, sticking out of the skin. As if on cue, the moment Saga's veins had shown themselves that needle had penetrated his skin and the black tar was being pushed into his body. He could feel the toxins rush through his veins; the drug already taking it's toll on the frail man on the floor.
"Reita..." Saga cried out faintly to the other as he pulled away and left the needle near his face.
"Akira." Replied the other as he looked down at the other man, placing a cigarette between his lips.
"Why..?" Was asked in a faint, breaking voice.
"You didn't want to hurt anymore." Came the reply.
And it fell silent, the only noise was when Reita had flicked his lighter to light his cigarette and then him sitting down on the coffee table barely two feet away from the body on the floor. He inhaled his cigarette, cherishing each drag as he watched his prey. He couldn't help but smirk at the shallow breathing from the man on the floor, and he already knew his pupils had been pinpointed.
"Are you enjoying your high, Princess?" Came the amused voice of Reita as he smoked his cigarette, a happy grin on his face.
The lack of response made him chuckle in delight and he placed himself down on the floor with the younger bassist, propping himself on one elbow.
"Not very talkative now, are you?" He asked with a slight frown; it growing even more so when he noticed that Saga's shallow breathing came to a stop.
He reached over and gently took Saga's arm, checking to see if the man still had a pulse. He shook his head, using his tongue against his teeth to make a 'tsk' sound and let the arm drop to the floor with a light thud.
"Well, that's no fun. You died too fast, Princess." He spoke to the other as he looked into Saga's lifeless eyes.
"I bet all that pain is gone now, right?" He chuckled as he sat up and pulled himself to his feet.
He rummaged around the small apartment for a minute, grabbing his jacket and his keys before he made his way towards the door, stepping over the lifeless body on the floor. He opened the door as he placed his noseband on, tying it securely at the base of his neck, and turning the lock knob on the doorknob before he looked back to Saga.
"Good night, Princess." He said as he shut the door, locking Saga and all his belongings in there.
