More than an archive, I guess I want this to be more of a pseudo-serious discussion place. There are a million and one things I have to say about this series! ...And no one to talk to. D: I have fanfic ideas too, but they're all tiny drabbles at best.
Anyways, Yankee-kun to Megane-chan starts out like your typical "boy meets annoying girl who clings to him and will not let go and she eventually grows on him and romance blossoms" fic - but it's so much better than that. The girl was a delinquent - she's now an "honor" student; the boy was an honor student - he's now a "delinquent".
There are the typical trials of high school life (field days, sport runs, school elections, tests) intertwined with the sense of growing up (applying to college, learning to control your anger, becoming a mature and responsible adult), and a ton of well-placed humor that makes this manga more light-hearted than its romance-oriented counterparts. Needless to say, I strongly recommend it! :D
