(no subject)
My roommate has been here for about a week now and I think she is going to get along just fine. She's only 18, I'm not the youngin' anymore, woo hoo! I can't believe I'm turning 20 next month... seems so unreal, but a lot of things seem unreal lately. Anyways. We managed to have everything in the room ready when Kim moved in. I put the second coat of paint on the walls and Steph put up the fan. The bathroom on the other hand... I have no clue when that will be finished.
I bought a 2gb Memorex Mp3 player the other day from work for like 40 bucks on clearance. It's originally $179.99 so I was like 'HELL YEA!' I was disappointed when I took it home, charged it and then found out the lithium battery is a dud.
Work finally gave me a date that I can go to New Orleans... Nov. 5th ... go figure. Not like I wanted to do anything special for my birthday anyway. Plus, I needed an excuse not to spend it with Robert. I know that sounds kind of mean, but it will just remind me how bad he screwed my last birthday up and then I'll be reminded of how much I hate that certain part of him. Ahh well. Completely got off subject there.
