Election 2008
Sure, I'm antsy, And who can blame me? Historically the United States presidency, while only supposed to affect the aforementioned nation, is intrinsically tied with the British government, along with its foreign policy.
So, this election is likely to be the first time in a while that there is no Republican stronghold this time around. I applaud the very notion of this, especially given the "four moron [sic] years" awarded last time. While no one realistically expects change they can believe in, a change of party would certainly make things more viable.
As the election is taking place during Sleepy Time, here is the one thing that has allowed me to go to bed without panicking:

Here's to a term without Bush, and hopefully without Palin too. I will swallow my teeth if te election is called in the Republicans' favour...
