seen some better days...
last weekend we set up a dummy tent in order to save a camping spot for 4th of july weekend. so we put up an old tent and a shitty cooler so no one would take the spot. so happened a family who don't usually camp attempted to camp at another camp site. but got there it was full. they somehow stumbled to our campsite which is pretty out of the way and requires a bit of hiking your stuff in. so they got a spot. after they unpacked and tried to set up tent, they realized that they were missing a pole. so i offered to give them our extra tent for the weekend. he offered money in return and i declined saying its good karma.
and since then its been a string of bad luck. losing my favorite sunglasses, donny getting a ticket, having his tools stolen, cycle gear screwing me on a purchase order i made a year ago (they asked me to bring in a bank statement since they can't find record of it on their computers with the purchase and i did and they lost it!), buying the shittiest student insurance that no doctor's office accepts, and financial aid saying i have to pay my own way...
anyway karma can kick in anytime now.
on a better note. i started clinicals at harbowveiw. and that place makes me greatful for a few things: donny selling his streetbike, i'm still sane, and just being friggen alive.
