Romeo and Juliet, my version
In 11th or 12th grade I had a Shakespear class where we read Romeo and Juliet. So of course, being me, I liked Tybalt for some unknown reason that can be summed up to the fact that I always like the terrible people. I thought he died too early on. So I changed the story so he doesn't die. Why? Cause I could XD Recently while looking through old files I found the text file where I summed up -my- version of Romeo and Juliet. Incest, crazy people and random shit included of course. And I'm posting it here... for no reason other then I wanna XD I might reuse the basic plot for something or other though, because in the end I never finished it and it didn't sound much anything like Romeo and Juliet anymore.

Well, lets see, what happens is that the reason that Rosaline never wanted Romeo is because she already
had a lover. She had a secret affair with Tybalt, which had to be kept quiet because their cousins and
it would be a scandel for anyone to know. But even beyond that, it turns out that Juliet was really
switched at birth, she was Romeo's twin sister. But after Lord Capulet's daughter apperantly died, he
had it that servants took Juliet instead who was born the same time. But no one other then Lord Capulet knew that.
Now wait.. Tybalt finds out, but he has to keep quiet because of Rosaline and what might become of that,
but then Mercutio finds out about Rosaline and tybalt and threatens to put everything out in the open. So
thus the fighht, and Tybalt slays Mercutio, then Romeo.. oblivious to everything, gets into a fight with
Tybalt to avenge Mercutio. But Rosaline shows up and gets in between them because she loves Tybalt, so
she ends up getting killed by accident. And Romeo is in disbelief and runs off. Now Tybalt is in shock
over what happened, and as a way to spite Romeo, rather then kill him tells him about him and Juliet
and says that he'll bring everything out in the open. Now Romeo's still like O.O now. And he has no idea
what to do, so he goes to Friar Lawerence and tells him everything, and Lawerence thinks its best Romeo
leave and forget about her and get on with his life. Tybalt meanwhile knows he really can't tell, because
Lord Capulet would kill him, so he goes to a pub and gets drunk thinking over his next move. And while
drunk he just happens to blab the secret out to some strangers, and the Nurse happens to be around to
overhear. Now she's afraid of what will happen if this gets out, and Juliet's depressed as it is that
Romeo's gonna get banished. But she tries to make Juliet forgett Romeo now. Yet that proves near impossible
and Juliet insists on seeing Romeo. So the Nurse goes to meet Friar Lawrence so they both would discuss
what to do. And again by good timing, tybalt happens to walk by the church and overhear their conversation.
So he's afraid for himself now, so he decides to tell Juliet, so then she'd kill herself.. and Romeo
would kill himself because she did. And that'd keep the spotlight off of him. SO while the Nurse is
still at Friar Lawrences, Tybalt returns to Juliet's room and tells her everything. Juliet's in hysterics
now, but rather then things going as he planned, she blames everything on him for bringing all this out
into the open and telling Romeo. Tybalt gets pissed at her, and rather strikes out and ends up raping her.
He then freaks out realizing what he's done and gets the hell outta there. The Nurse returns to find Juliet,
but juliet won't talk to anyone, and the nurse is confused, but figures its because of Romeo. So she agrees
to have them see each other, and when Juliet sees Romeo she breaks down again and ends up telling him
everything. So now Romeo wants to kill Tybalt even more then before. But at the same time has no idea
what to do about his banishment, and about Juliet.
Romeo goes in search of Tybalt to kill him for what he did, and finds him drunk on the street. After
beating him up quite badly, yet before he's able to kill him, the commotion had awakened most of the
surrounding area and Romeo is arrested. Tybalt is left in a coma for a few days, and when he awakens
he sees Rosaline. At first unsure whether he's crazy or seeing a ghost, but he soon believes her words
and clings to his love. Now Rosaline tells him he must destroy Romeo for what he did, but first he must
get Romeo out of jail. Yeah ghosts are confusing that way. So taking in a favor he owed a guard, he
sneaked in as a mysterious figure in a dark cloak and helped Romeo escape telling him he was a 'friend'
and to go see Juliet at Friar Lawrences. For thats what Rosaline is telling to say. Romeo believes this
'friend' and hurries off to Juliet telling her that he doesn't care. That they can run away together
somewhere no one knows them. But Tybalt meanwhile goes to Paris, telling him about Romeo and Juliet
and that Romeo 'corrupted' Juliet. To get the favore of Juliet and get this scandel off her name he must
kill Romeo and then he'll have Juliet all to himself, no one will ever know. Paris agrees, and heads
off to Friar Lawrences.
