Sex and Chocolate.
So tonight they're having a fondue and condoms party in our residence hall! I am DEFINITELY going to that. We have a comedian after that, and the rest of the weekend is full of lots of fun stuff. They call them SWEET (Students Working to Entertain Etown) weekends and we have a dance and movies in the Dell and a candy apple-making party and musicians. Should be fun!
Fun things I've signed up for already:
-Melica! Female A Capella group on campus. I had my audition last night and they were all really friendly. I thought I did well, but I don't know what they're looking for and how many people in each voice part they're taking. I find out tomorrow morning if I got a callback or not. It doesn't matter to me really if I get in this time around... I'm prepared to try out every semester until I make it!
-Emotion, the dance club. It's the biggest club at Etown and should be a blast! We have a car wash this Sunday if I don't get a Melica callback.
-Etown Idol... yep. It's not American Idol, but there are slightly less than 70,000 people trying out for this one. They actually play your audition on the college channel and you can call in and vote for people. And then they pick the people with the most votes to perform live and compete for $500.
-Community Chorus. I have to remember to pick up a black folder when my roommate and I go futon shopping. And memorize our Alma Mater. I'm excited for our Christmas concert... we have a snow machine.
