Game:: The Song Game!

Jun 30, 2008 07:33

This is a little game I've been playing while I listen to my favorite music lately.

Basically, what you do is this: Open a Notepad or Wordpad document (I've been using Notepad, just easier), and list the names of the characters you want to play with - doesn't matter how many. Then leave it there. Turn on your favorite background noise/listening music/songs, and wait until a line hits you. When you hear a line that works for one of the characters, type it up in the Note/Wordpad document!

The object of the game, you might ask? Just to have fun, and maybe figure out the characters in your head a little better.

Here's mine, though it's still, as ever, in progress:
(Lyrics herein from Rilo Kiley, Eisley, Alanis Morissette, Bright Eyes, The Birthday Massacre, &etc.; if you're curious what song a line came from, ask!)

Jack :: and you've been taking control of our lives
:: such a difference between who I am and who you see
:: one day I'll introduce myself, and you'll see you've not yet met me
:: my favorite passtime is touching
:: and when you jump up, the earth wants you back
:: how do you do it? you make it seem effortless
::
Gwen :: all in time, you will be one of us painless, us blameless
::
Owen :: your resentment grows 'till you're all alone
:: I should have known, with a boy like you, your middle name is 'always'
::
Tosh :: there is no doubt, she is a mouse, with such an abstract grace
:: and the ones that go unnoticed still leave their mark once disappeared
::
Ianto :: a problem's a task disguised in work clothes
:: this time I'm faking it, until I'm pseudo making it
::
The Doctor :: I keep on talking trash, but I never say anything
:: and traveling blows when you're out of rope
::
Rose ::
Martha ::
Donna ::

Torchwood :: and you, you would take the breath from my throat, and you would take the cherished people that I...
:: these are not times for the weak of heart
::

I'll update this as I get more. :D Feel free to comment with your own.
