Nothing Left To Give - Poem
So this is why my poetry is sad most of the time...

So here's one of my poems... for Jen, b.c she wanted me to start posting some, lol :)
Nothing Left To Give
She says she doesn’t want to know you,
she says she doesn’t care at all.
She says whatever was there, is through,
what she means is she regrets the fall.
She says she doesn’t feel you anymore,
says there’s nothing left;
feels empty when she remembers-
as if you’ve torn away the core.
She whispers into nothing,
just to feel like she has something.
She stares into the darkness;
sits and waits to get away.
Sometimes she thinks your heartless,
but knows, everything will be okay.
She told you she forgave you,
but she’s got nothing left to give you.
