It's the end of an era. Now get to work, bitches!

Today is my last day as news editor.

Like my high school graduation, I'm partly relieved, nostalgic and I can't give a shit anymore. I was heartbroken two weeks ago and I can't be anything else but bitter and somewhat frustrated. Shit just ain't fair.

I left work about two hours ago and it feels weird.

Then again, the new editor in chief is a lazy ass, sorry excuse of a reporter and overall whiny bitch who doesn't know how to do anything but complain and kiss ass. I'd rather not work for her, if you can't tell.

Like our new university president says, "People don't like whining, they like winning."

I feel the same way.

And she and whoever is news editor is in for a world of shit. Really. They don't realize it, but it's exactly what they wanted, especially since this week is going to be extra busy. Be careful what you ask for, jackasses.

I don't feel the slightest bit sorry for my replacement.

But that's just me. I guess that's what happens when you're demoralized and can't muster up giving a damn anymore. Eat it, you hos.

It was a good ride while it lasted, but now it's over. And I'm still reeling in the aftermath, wondering how the hell shit went down.

It's the end of an era, that's for sure.

Now get to work, muthafuckers. It's gonna be a bumpy ride, assholes, so strap yourself in. It's not gonna be fun. Get used to it.

work, rant
