Lost and found
Found the phone. Needs a new battery. *sigh*
Anyway, found another book to read (instead of the ones I should be).
And just when I start enjoying it . . .Bam! (no, not like Emeril, but close) Deadlines, exams and tracking down people. *pulls hair*
I have to pay for an order I placed, a story due tomorrow, and a meeting to cover tomorrow morning. I can't believe I whined about being bored. Now I practically live at school.
Which by the way, has its moments. Like last week, when a girl asked me if I wanted to join a sorority.
Her: Would you like to join?
Me: *frowning thoughtfully* Do you guys do human sacrifice?
Her: *looks up, considering* Umm, no.
Me: Oh, ok. Good to know.
Her: Really, we don't do human sacrifice. There's no hazing.
Which reminds me: Silly things that I've been party to.
1. Alone.
Walking into the shower with my glasses on.
2. On my birthday.
Me: Hey dad! Look at the t-shirt I got!
Dad: Cootie pie?
Me: It says CUTIE pie!
3. In a car.
Me: Hey, I have the same birthday as Jimi Hendrix and Bruce Lee.
Des: Really? Who do I share a birthday with?
Me: Hell if I know.
4. In the kitchen with the dog and my brother.
Me: *petting Snoopy* You're so fat, boy.
Brother: *looking on*
Me: *looks up at brother* You too, Snoopy.
5. In the kitchen. Again.
Me: *teaching brother to cook* Keep stirring.
Brother: But the pan!
Me: Quit being a little bitch and stir!!
And now I'm off to interrogate people. Then there's class. Yay me.
