Mmm... [ Rise actually gives this some consideration, and then smiles warmly. ] I know it's scary, but if you can give those things to the person yourself, it lets them know that you care enough about them to do that. Even if it's just in private.

Plus, if you can even ask this to everyone, I'd say you're plenty brave yourself!
