Tutorial #36: Anastacia

Finally I have the time to make a new tutorial, this time featuring Anastacia.

Made in Adobe Photoshop 7.0, not translatable (uses Selective Color)

Step 1:
Take your picture, crop it and sharpen once



Step 2:
Go to Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color and floodfill the layer with #EA8C4E. Set it to Soft Light 100%



Step 3:
Create a new Selective Color Layer and use the following settings:

Reds:
Cyan > -20
Magenta > 0
Yellow > -18
Black > 0

Yellows:
Cyan > 0
Magenta > 0
Yellow > -15
Black > 0

Neutrals:
Cyan > +100
Magenta > +26
Yellow > +10
Black > 0



Step 4:
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation and up the Saturation with +20



Step 5:
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Color Balance and use the following settings:

Shadows:
-77 | -21 | 0

Make sure Preserve Luminosity is checked



Step 6:
You can add some text or brushes to your liking.



Done!

If your icon turnes out to dark, duplicate the base and set it to Screen 50%
