Yay! Another tutorial =]
This time with the lovely Keira Knightley.
Learn how to go from
to
Made in Photoshop 7.0, involves Selective Color
I used
these three pictures which I found on
KeiraKnightley.net Step 1:
Crop your first picture to 100 x 100 px and crop the other two pictures to 50 x 50 px. Cut out your 50 x 50 pictures with the Polygonal Lasso Tool (
) and pull them on your 100 x 100 base. Keep moving around until you are happy with the result. Flatten the image and sharpen once. Mine turned out like this:
Step 2:
Duplicate your base, run a Smart Blur (1.0 Radius, 13.6 Threshold, Quality: Low, Mode: Normal) and set it to Screen 100%
Step 3:
Duplicate the Screen layer (not the base!) and change the layermode to Soft Light 100%
Step 4:
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Saturation and up the saturation to +20.
Step 5:
Go to Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color and use the following settings:
Reds:
Cyan: +100
Magenta: +70
Yellow: +23
Black: -33
Yellows:
Cyan: 0
Magenta: 0
Yellow: 0
Black: -68
Magentas:
Cyan: -100
Magenta: +100
Yellow: +100
Black: +100
Whites:
Cyan: +100
Magenta: +20
Yellow: -68
Black: +49
Neutrals:
Cyan: +26
Magenta: 0
Yellow: -30
Black: 0
Step 6:
Duplicate the Screen layer again, drag it to the top and set it to Soft Light 100%
Step 7:
Create a new layer, floodfill it with #EFFF6A and set it to Saturation 100%
Step 8:
Add text/brushes to your liking.
And you are done!
