SO NERVOUS!
Me in the Revival of the wiz? HOLY SHIT! I am so nervous. This show will be up for Tony nominations and shit, not saying that i will get in or anything. They want to hear me go up to a C.......its been a while. And i havent practiced since i've been home, only partying with friends...bad edwin...bad bad edwin. If i land this....mary said she will officially sign me. That would be sooooo cool. I would have a REAL new york agent! I LOVE MY LIFE! I guess its true, south florida kinda does take the theatre out of you. Since i have been down here..i havent wanted to practice or anything. MUST LEAVE SOUTH FLORIDA!
The people from NYU called me friday. I officially turned them down. Too much money. 75% scholarship still leaves 25% left to pay. which is ALOT at NYU! maybe in two years. we shall see.
My voice teacher said my voice has imporved alot. I am going to enter "the metropolitan opera house voice competition". So excited. I know i will not win, but she wants to see how i will place. And i will be singing the wizard and I for recital. down a half step. so freaking excited. All of the guys are singing girl songs, and the girls singing guy songs. Its going to be soooo cool.
well off to work....grrrr I HATE THE GAP! then maybe i will practice tonight..NOT! i am so going to party!
p.s. And for any of you who care....my acting coach LOVES the "toot" skit with the judge. He wants to try and make it a monologue or scene or something dumb. I think i am going to put it on a t-shirt just for shits and giggles. But i dont remember the entire cast we made up.
