I get Google alerts whenever "William Petersen" is in the news...

This morning, there was an interesting story from the Edmunton Sun that started off "A couple of weeks ago, you were asked to explain the devotion that TV viewers have for CSI and its two spinoffs, CSI: Miami and CSI: New York."

How can anyone even put Caruso and acting in the same sentence let alone compare him to WP? That idiot and his sun glasses act just about as well as a loofah - no wait... the loofah would be far more interesting to watch. He's the reason I don't watch Miami and also the reason I can't watch that cross-over ep of CSI:CSI. His face, voice and general himness (leave me alone. That could be a word) annoy me. (shudders)

I'm a big fan of neologisms...made-up words. I think my favorite is when a friend's child said he shouldn't get in trouble because he "didn't do it on purple."

I didn't do it on purple, either!

That's gonna be my new favourite phrase. How adorable!

I like the word neologism. I'm a Classicist. You want to know the root?

I can get quite irritating with roots. Sometimes I do it continuously in a conversation and make lots of people mad at me. Can't help it though - it has become a habit.
