Split toe shoes. EW.
I first ran across these on the wonderful
Noble Pig Blog. (This is a great blog, BTW, and she has some killer recipes!)
So, you know...ew.
My friend Patti emailed this story to me today...
Split-toe shoes/boots fashionable among the stars "...but his Tabi shoes and boots, at left, have a split between the big toe and the rest of the foot, making the wearer look a bit too equine to be seen outside of the Kentucky Derby."
I believe the word he/she (is Carson a girl or a boy?) was looking for here is BOVINE not equine. Horses have perfectly lovely toeless hooves. OK, it's actually one BIG toe, but hey, no splits.
As for cows, I have never known a cow to wear heels. Cows are mosiers...their style would lean toward ballet pumps or sneaks, don't you think? Cows in heels? I don't THINK so.
I say again, EW...just EWWWWWWWWWWWW.
Thong style shoes are great for flip flops and sandals. For shoes? Say NO to the TOE!
