(no subject)
Went to church with Melissa and that was nice. It was a two hour mass but it went by pretty fast. I'm glad I've decided to go back to church more often. I haven't lost faith or anything, I've just been way too busy.
Really horrible moment alert. Everything was going fine. We received these candles and got them lit with the fire that symbolized everlasting life or whatever (gee, don't I make it sound so compelling?). The pastor begins reciting passages out of this book so I'm searching for the page and Melissa taps me on the shoulders and she's like "look at your candle!" and I was like "what?" and I looked down and the hot wax had fallen all over the girl's coat in front of me!! That was a horrible feeling. I couldn't stop thinking about it til' the mass was over. I apologized and the girl and her mom seemed good about the whole thing.
Dropped Melissa back off at home and saw my cousin Johnny and the mom of his baby, Nadeen! She's like my age so that's really cool. I hardly ever see her but her daughter just turned one. I remember her being pregnant when we saw "Signs" in the movies together. She's really cool. That's when you know you're getting old, when a friend your age is a mother.
Okay, that was random. So then Alexis called me up and she wanted to go out to eat and had to be home by 11 so we didn't do anything special. Just went out to eat at Taco Bell. Angie was with her so all 3 of us went out. I felt like acting crazy so when we were at the drive-through, I told the guy I wanted my taco's "really really hard" and he knew I was acting stupid. When we got up to the window to pay, he first - rolled his eyes. Secondly, he practically threw the food and drinks in my lap, and then after he gave me my change, he told me never to say something like that again. Some people can't take jokes but maybe he had a long night. Things like that bug me but I just think about how I'll never see that certain person again in my life. Putting myself in his shoes, I wouldn't be mad. I'd laugh when the driver pulled up the window and crack a joke... but that's me.
Anyways, we just ate and went home after that. Blasting Mario Winans in the car was crazy. Alexis is in love with the song. I'm starting to get Diddy's rap down after hearing the song so damn much. haha.
Ooh, Kevin and Travon went to see Britney tonight. They called us and said the show was awesome. So that's cool.
