[She stops in the doorway, looking up at Lucifer for a moment. There's this look on her face that hasn't decided whether it's fury or not, and so she doesn't step in.]
Brother. [It's not quite a question, not exactly a statement. Something in between.]
Rhode. [He's not sure why she's calling him that instead of by his name, but he hugs her, sensing her confusion and what he hopes will be rage. Rage, between the two of them, is always the catalyst to better things.]
[At the first part she finally begins to relax, only to stiffen again at the last. She takes a step back, letting go of Lucifer.]
How are we related, Lucifer? How did you come by such cute nieces? [That tone still, probing. Angry, but not so much at him, just a general, deep fury.]
[For some reason she'd decided if they were her nieces, they were his as well. Color her the jealous type, but thinking of Lucifer doting on any "daughters" really annoys her.]
[Under other circumstances she might decide the game is fun, little nieces to dress up and harass would be just like living dolls. But right now she's not amused. Because Lucifer doesn't seem to realize this situation is wrong, and that means his memories are edited too, right?]
Toys. [She snaps it, angry, upset. Afraid she's the only one who remembers things like they're supposed to be. And because she's intelligent enough to consider it, afraid maybe she's the only one who doesn't remember things correctly.]
Toys. [He's agreeing, although he can't understand why she's so vehement about it today. He's always let her do whatever she likes to the girls--to anyone remotely human, in fact.]
[Except there's no always. It all just started and she's angry and scared. But if Lucifer remembers they're siblings maybe the others will too. Tyki wouldn't forget her, right? Allen wouldn't either.]
[She has to believe that.]
Tell me about last week. What did you and your... The toys do?
He's not sure what's going on, but something is amiss.]

Tell me about your family.

And Alice and Raven are your nieces. They're on our side...for now. [The unspoken part of that is unchanged: if they turn on him, he will kill them.]

Raven and Alice are a result of my needing sacrifices.
[He strokes Rhode's hair, frowning now.] What's wrong?

That's right. We are. But Lucifer, your little lambs weren't little nieces, yesterday. ♥
[That's what's wrong. Or part of it.]

No, of course they weren't. They're my 'daughters'.

They weren't your daughters yesterday either!

What would you call them?

They went out on their own, I assume. Other people take care of them now.

How long? Have they been yours. Tell me what you remember.
