Always Keep the Faith
It's such an eventful day today, or rather, yesterday. Not overwhelming though, but it's enough to make this day memorable. So here's how the day went:
Morning wake up, and go to HC for the first caroling practice of the year. Haven't sung in a long time, and i really really missed choral singing and all the people there. It's possibly a place where i wont feel out, or weird at all. Somewhere where i can kind of be myself. Looking at scores and singing, hearing the chords and blending, so much fun. After prac, it was lunch at curry wok. the sad thing is, no more student price. so we were like paying high prices. but i miss the food there! and i don't mind the price haha, as long as the food is good...
After lunch, a long journey to the airport, to meet jingyu and sheena. Yes, it's long after JYJ arrived. didn't intend to chase them anyway haha.before that, met jacintha for awhile. i miss her! it's been a long time since we met :D anyway, after that, sat at xinwang and slacked. but oh my the wiFi there sucks. Evelyn and Regina came after, and ate dinner, before heading down to Expo.
at expo, there was a long queue which i don't understand why since the seats are numbered. so the group of us just sat down somewhere to wait instead of queuing. the wait was quite long before we went in.well, our seats were like quite middle although very far but it's okay. at least got full view without anything blocking. the whole showcase started at around 9 plus.
so. JYJ started with 3 english songs. the songs were from The Beginning album. which to be honest, i haven't heard before. so the showcase would be the first time i hear the songs from that album. It was not bad, the songs are quite nice.then it was the interview. and wow haha yoochun was so funny and i don't know why. everytime he talks i just laugh. haha maybe it's his accent. the emcee was just erm.. fail. so i shall not talk about him. after that. they sang 찾았다! omg. when they started, i just teared. really. their live singing was totally like listening to cd. perfect. i didn't feel much when they sang their english songs. but for this, i really teared. as i said, the best of dbsk/jyj is always their korean/japanese ballads or slow songs. no doubt about it. the harmonization is so perfect. this is why i love them so much. after that song, it's another english song and the whole thing ends.
regina, evelyn and me decided to go and get the album. and there, with every album bought, you get a chance to receive and autographed poster. and this is decided by picking pingpong balls from in a box. orange means you get it white means you don't. and lucky me. i mean really lucky, the two chances i got from buying mine and eve's album gave us two orange pingpongs. so i got autographed poster! and total it's $20 for an album, a poster and an autographed poster. lol this is just on a side note. i'm already satisfied to be able to hear them live. :)
so with that ends this account. not a long one, but enough for me to remember the process. :) and of course, i will Always Keep the Faith. <3
