This is amazing! I came into Trek through the reboot even though I recall my dad watching the reruns of TOS when I was a kid. This movie completely owns me. I have since seen all of TOS and the movies and I love everything Kirk and Spock and the original crew.

This vid is so fresh and fun that it totally takes me back to that moment when the credits started to roll after my very first viewing in 2009. I saw it 7 times between the theater and drive-in and can't count the dvd viewings since. But the excitement and love of JJ's Trek bleeds through your vid.

I love the movement in this and your amazing use of voice overs in this piece. Moving from Nero's staff popping open to Spock's eyebrow lift was perfect and the white flash before coming in on George Kirk on the Kelvin really set up that block of scenes.

I love how you fit everyone into this and the action sequences. Scotty's voice over was brilliantly used. Guh! I can't stop gushing over this. I'm totally pimping this on my journal. ♥

Yes! I'm thrilled to see that the new movie is recruiting people to the original show because it was so brilliant and is still ridiculously entertaining 50 years later. And because of that, as mentioned I totally expected to loathe the reboot but for all their bullshit "this is not your father's star trek" ad work, it truly was.

I subsequently made two TOS vids that are quite different but if you like the original crew I think you'd enjoy them (hopefully lol). Will pm you now with the download info :o)
