It's the dark of the moon, thank heavens! Last year it was the full moon on Valentine's and again on St Patricks Day, trying to arrange things at the Inn and then being locked up before dark almost drove me crazy. This time I'm going to enjoy every minute.
We've made a good start on it. Valentines Day itself was a lovely day, I was almost tempted to go swimming or surfing but it was just a little too cool for that. Instead we had dinner out on the beach. It was high tide and - I can't get used to this beautiful necklace. I was afraid the sand would scratch the stones but - well, they're diamonds, not zirconia.
In some ways it's nice that Grant is so tolerant, but that Kendall woman is a vampire. I can smell her right down the hall. I can't stand them and I'm surprised that he can - if Kendall makes any trouble she's - well, toast, at this time of the month, but she's better watch out in a couple of weeks!
I don't really want to think about that, now. I've got a new, midnight blue dress, it looks lovely with the necklace. I'm going to enjoy this evening
