Paradox...Oh My!
So Nick let me borrow "Starter for Ten" since I said I was bored and my lovely roomie doesn't get back until tomorrow.I was going through roomate withdrawal...but woo-hoo,I'll be back and healthy in no time!
Anyway,I was just going to go watch it when I found "Atonement" on youtube.Now,anyone who knows me knows that when I saw the movie a movie ago,I was in love! I read the book and I was skeptical about it transferring well but after I saw the promo trailer back in April,I knew I had to see it.
Then after seeing the film...and crying my eyes out three times...I just wanted to see it again but bc I had a whole other bunch of movies left in my Oscar Movie Run,I knew I probably wouldn't see it until it came out on dvd which made me very sad.Of course,then I find that it's been uploaded on youtube.But here's the thing: my reaction is mixed -
1) I'm overjoyed! What wonderful person put this movie on YT?! Can I have their babies?
but
2) Why is this movie on YT? It's a small art film and it should be seen in the theaters bc damn it,I want the people who made this movie to benefit!
So what do I do? Well....I become a cheap whore and I watch it....which is what I'm currently doing now.I'm such a sell out.Well,my view is when you live in NY and have to pay $10 to see a movie,you should be able to see it online free and not feel like you're cheating anyone lol.

(I start tuning into two soaps that I right now couldn't care less about)
