(no subject)
The weather is putting me in a really good mood! This week has been pretty good so far. I got my new WMU ID yesterday. The picture isn't the best I've ever taken, but it's better than the one on my old ID! I had a math exam today that I thought was gonna be really hard except it was pretty easy. I also went to my apartment earlier to pick up some mail and try to figure out where all my furniture will go. My living room and bedroom set get delivered on Saturday. I'm getting the canopy bed that I've always wanted! And my couch and chair is denim. It's really cute.
So...2 weeks of classes and then finals. My freshmen year is almost over and in some ways it seems like it just started! I know I'm taking a summer class here (ENG 107) for Summer I. However, now I'm thinking of taking a class at Schoolcraft the 2nd part of the summer. I mean, it doesn't look like I'll be getting a job this summer except for babysitting. And I don't really want to be completely idle for two months. I found one at Scraft that would be Monday and Wednesday night. So, we'll see.
Backstreet Boys concert is on Tuesday! Teresa and I will be jamming to the band you all know and still love, whether or not you want to admit it. I am super excited especially b/c I just got off the phone with her and we had a really good conversation. Which is pretty impressive, considering I haven't talked to her in over five years. And yes, we reconnected through Facebook.
Dave and I are planning to walk around downtown tomorrow. Depends on whether or not it actually storms. I like how people call Kalamazoo: The Zoo. You wish you could say you went to school in The Zoo. A WMU student was on the Price is Right today! And a teacher from SHS was on Jeopardy tonight! Kind of weird that two people I'm connected to appeared on game shows in the same day.
My Friday class was cancelled this week. =)
