(no subject)
This is so pathetic. It's 1:40 in the afternoon and I just woke up. I am ridiculously lazy. A couple days ago Darcie, aka a super cool girl from CIP, found me on Facebook and we're gonna go out to lunch when school gets out! We'll probably visit Hayes Elementary too, even though I know it'll be kind of weird. Still, that school and the people in it were what made me realize I definitely wanted to become an elementary school teacher. I can't wait to hear how Darcie is enjoying all the snow and cold at NMU.
And....Dave comes home today! I know I saw him on Wednesday, but that barely counted. Talking to your boyfriend for an hour in a crowded bar does not constitute as "quality time".
Oh, and in case you were wondering, I did sign a lease for my apartment on Friday. It's called Willow Creek and my move-in day is Tuesday. Of course, I won't actually move in yet, but I'll get the keys and I can start looking for furniture and eventually moving it in. It's $662/month with an 18 month lease. Usually, its $722 so I got it on a special rate. I get the first month free so I actually won't pay until May 1st. 18 months means it will be mine until a few days after my 20th birthday.
What do you all think is the perfect age? I think the perfect age is 22-23. At that point, you're
legal to do pretty much everthing (except sometimes you have to be 25 to rent a car). Also, you're old enough that the adult community doesn't view you as an immature idiot. Yet, you're still young enough to have fun and go out to the bars and clubs.
