People make me sad.
They really do. The amount of hatred, bigotry, and IDIOCY makes me want to cry and write depressing poetry in a corner. I had such a fabulous beautiful day today, and now when I look back on it it's tainted. Seeing the kind of racist, sexist, and heterosexist crap out there that pervades internet journals such as these is enough to destroy civilizations... which it actually is doing as we speak. Yes there are positive works out there, yes there is a progressive trend in some areas, but I believe it's not enough; I want to see more! More love, more hope, more action towards equality. I want to be the super RA my staff claims me to be and go cure the world and take every teaching moment to make everyone a bit more enlightened. My blood boils with passion and I just need to get away from this place, though I still want to be so connected that we share a life blood. ::sigh:: I'm working on it.
