the past
so i was curious tonight and was lookin around and found a tape from my sophomore season with the football team. actually i found one from my junior year too. the timberlane and memorial games that shocked the NH highschool football teams, the papers, and in a lot of ways the boys too. they showed so much of the potential that they all possess. they still have it too. a lot of the guys are still in my life. couldnt imagine what we'd all go thru to get here, back then life seemed simple. it was far from it. i watch the tapes now and see the guys and couldnt imagine my life without them in it. Drew came over for a while tonight. we watched the timberlane game. comeback in the 4th quarter, tie it up with less than 30 sec to play... win in double overtime against the defending state champs... it was a huge game. so much adrenaline and excitement. we, me drew and dad, sat and talked about the past few seasons and the guys and how Drew's team at Endicott will be scrimmaging Plymouth State first this season. that means playin against Whelan, Donny, Smitty. Dad and I r gonna go see that. And i always promised Drew that I'd go watch him play at Endicott. and he says hes gonna keep me to it. He leaves the 18th. gotta love that kid hes such a sweetie!! muah lol. so we snacked on Gram's brownies, got him sum milk and goofed off til he got a headache and went home. like his mom said " friends for life". some things dont belong in the past... Drew and John are two of them.
