Ghosts of the Pasts

Hope everyone had a good Turkey Day. Mine was different since this year I didn't go home and instead stayed here in good ole' NY. The original plan was to simply buy myself a Turkey Sandwich after work and just be lazy, but fate had other plans. While at work, Preston asked me to join him for a Thanksgiving dinner his friends were having later that night. So after work, I quickly scoured the internet and found an easy recipe for cornbread. I made cornbread from scratch. BAM! This is me on the way to becoming Iron Chef Mike. It came out all right of course. A bit on the dry side, lacking just a teeny tiny bit in taste (should have added chocolate into it or something), but overall easily digestible.

After dinner, Preston, Aaron and myself went over to the bar for some good times in alcoholic consumption. The whole time there, Aaron and Preston argued over trivial things. For example, if someone pulls up on your pants and creates a wedgie, is it still considered a wedgie? Lame arguement, but the gin&tonics and Alabama Slammas made it interesting. Webster's dictionary would define a wedgie as the underwear that is manhandled and drove up into the deeper regions of the butt environments. Therefore, creating this moment through the pants is not a wedgie, but an ASSISTED wedgie. Much like if you passed the ball and someone else scored; while you didn't make the goal, you definitely assisted.

And that is the end of that story.

It was also made clear that Preston had read my livejournal through some freak interlinking done on google and whatnot. Which made me ponder, what the hell did he exactly read in my Lj? So I took a stroll through memory lane and god damn, what the hell was I on when I wrote these things? A survey answered according to what my penis would write if it had a set of hands? Jesus. I was a weird kid back then in college. Probably was all that D&D I did.

But it also made me miss those weird college times when all I had to worry about were exams and not bills. Oh money woes. It was funny to read those entries that start, "So I should be studying for my _______ exam, but instead I'm going to..."

New favorite character on Heroes is Elle. She is so freakin' sweeeeeeeeeeeet! However, she has social interaction issues, but really, the cure for that is just me. I can teach her to love.

Love her :)
